For the second time since we started The Tasteless Gentlemen, Facebook has unpublished our page without any explanation. All we can do is appeal this decision without anything in writing. We can’t explain anything. We can’t tell them that the photos that get reported don’t violate any of their community standards. We can’t have a real discussion with anybody at Facebook to appeal this. For all we know, some algorithm or somebody behind a desk will make a decision without actually speaking to us at all.
This is our livelihood. We built this and it can all be destroyed without any explanation as to why. The decision will be made in silence, so right now, we can’t be silent. We need you posting this article all over Facebook and all other social media demanding that Facebook bring back TTG. Don’t let the social justice warriors and the PC police win this battle.
We have not started another page. Any page you see on Facebook is in violation of copyright infringement. Anybody claiming to be us will be receiving cease and desist orders soon.

Getting real sick of this bullshit. It’s one thing if people are blasting offensive crap all over FB, spamming, etc. but it’s another when PG-13 memes can’t be posted in a group people *choose* to be part of.
They’re using fucking algorithms and bots to determine when to suspend pages and people. I got a 24 hour suspension a couple months back for using the word “tranny” in a private group. Was in a thread where people were joking around about being attracted to transsexuals, not as part of hate speech, and the post was nearly 6 months old. I didn’t get the memo telling me I should get in a time machine and not make the post.
By the same token, they’ve obviously got algorithms they’re using to determine when a page should be unpublished. The algorithms are apparently taking into account the uniqueness and number of reports and little human oversight is undertaken. In this case however there has been a concerted effort to troll the page with reports. In fact during the last shutdown, a page was started called the “Tasteless Lady” which presented itself as a reboot of the page and later encouraged people to harass the page.
